New early access cursor update broke wsl support

after updating cursor using the early access updates, it broke support for WSL. I can not use cursor and I have seem to lost data in the notes.

Hi! Could you try switching to the Anysphere Remote WSL extension? You can find it by searching for @id:anysphere.remote-wsl (attaching a screenshot). Please share whether this works for you!
