[Nightly] The subagent chat displays an incorrect AI model

Where does the bug appear (feature/product)?

Cursor IDE

Describe the Bug

I checked When specifying any Subagent model, Composer-1 is called as a result and it turned out that the problem was in the interface, not in the subagents.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Ask the Agent to summon several Subagents with different models with the prompt “Who are you? Name the AI model hidden under the Subagent. Brief answer.”
  2. Open Subagent chat
  3. (In my re-check) Grok Coder and Codex 5.2 know themselves and give their real names.

Does this stop you from using Cursor

No - Cursor works, but with this issue

Hey, thanks for the detailed report and for looking into it yourself. This is actually a UI bug. The models are working correctly, but the sub-agent chat view is showing the wrong name.

The team is aware of the issue. I added your report so it’s visible.

This should be fixed in 2.5 (proper 2.5, not nightly ). Thanks for the report.
