No MCP resources available. when trying to connet with supabase

When i ask Cursor (agent mode with composer) to create a table named “pages” using Supabase MCP, it replies with
No Supabase MCP server is configured. Checking the existing table structure to match the schema style, then creating a SQL migration for the “pages” table.

Though i have connected them carefully. take a look at my screenshot.

It happens with me as well sometime

I simply use new chat or give the context of mcp.json file for it to check, mostly it works after that

Hey, thanks for the report. This is a known issue after updating Cursor to 2.3.41. The MCP server connects successfully (I can see “20 tools enabled” in your screenshot), but the agent can’t discover the tools. The team is working on a fix similar thread: Agent chat "No MCP resources available" when trying to use MCP

Can you share the Request ID from the chat where you see the error? (three dots in the top-right of the chat > Copy Request ID). That’ll help the team figure out the cause.

Tried that nothing happened

I had the same problem and it’s a known Cursor bug in version 2.3.41. MCP is connected, but the agent sometimes can’t see the tools. Starting a new chat or pasting the mcp.json usually fixes it. If not, share the Request ID with Cursor support since they’re already working on a fix.
