Has anyone gotten this behavior? It doesn’t always do this but it seems like ~40% of time. Does anyone have a solution for this?
Yeah o3-mini can be a bit unpredictable with tool calls like this. I’d recommend switching to Claude if you’re running into these issues consistently - it’s generally more reliable for file operations
In v0.46 you can use ‘ask’ mode with o3-mini to plan out what you want to do, then switch to Claude for the actual implementation. This gives you the best of both worlds
