Only the Composer model is available

After updating to the latest version of Cursor, the only model I can see is Composer. How can I make models like Gemini, Claude Code, and GPT appear again?

Hey, this isn’t a bug, it’s regional restrictions.

Anthropic (Claude), OpenAI (GPT), and Google (Gemini) block API access from some regions, so these models won’t show up in Cursor settings. This is a restriction from the model providers, not Cursor.

What you can do:

  1. Use Auto mode, it will automatically pick a model that’s available in your region.
  2. Use the models that are available, like Composer, Grok, DeepSeek, and others.
  3. Add your own API key: Settings > Models > add the provider key. Keep in mind the provider may still block your region even with your own key.
