### Where does the bug appear (feature/product)? Cursor IDE ### Describe the Bug CTRL + L for ‘Open Chat in Agent Mode’ is broken. ### Steps to Reproduce 1 Assign ‘Open Chat in Agent Mode’ to Ctrl + L on Windows 2 Start a new chat in ‘Ask’ mode 3 Send message ‘hi’ 4 Press CTRL + L Observe: New chat created (in Agent mode) ### Expected Behavior Expected: Agent mode selected (in existing chat) ### Operating System Windows 10/11 ### Current Cursor Version (Menu → About Cursor → Copy) Version: 1.5.4 (user setup) VSCode Version: 1.99.3 Commit: f48f0974d52c41214775efcb96bbb5d7acd581 ### Does this stop you from using Cursor Sometimes - I can sometimes use Cursor ---

@deanrie I see you’ve marked your answer as the solution. It’s not. Can you please mark it back to not having a solution? I already had the modes set when I reported this bug (see below). So setting the modes is not a solution. The issue is that `ctrl + L` sets agent mode AND STARTS A NEW CHAT. It shouldn’t start a new chat. `ctrl + i` works correctly. It only sets ask mode. @deanrie as I said in the last post, can you please mark it not solved? I don’t want a new chat, which is what you have in your screenshot. Below are my keyboard shortcuts. I see from your screenshot you’re on MacOS.
