Open Workspace button does not actually open Workspace, simply opens in Home

Describe the Bug

Open Workspace button does not respect the selected Workspace

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Open Cursor
  2. Sort Sidebar by “Workspace”
  3. Click on the “Open Workspace” button
  4. New chat opens, but with “Home” set as Worksapce instead of the one i expected

Expected Behavior

I expect the Workspace I selected to be shown.

Does this stop you from using Cursor

No - Cursor works, but with this issue

I just had this happen to me while trying to reproduce it, and now after reloading my window I can’t reproduce it anymore!

That said, I know I’ve run into it before. I’ll file a bug report with the team. Thanks a lot for sharing the video!

Thanks for trying and passing it on. One thing I noticed (don’t know if this helps triage): When this happens (i.e. i had selected a workspace but it uses Home) and I select that same workspace again (so basically i repeat the action) then it seems to always work.
