When I type @ and select “Past Chats” in a new chat, it always shows “No available options”, even though I have multiple chats in the history sidebar.
In the Developer Tools console, I see this error every time I trigger Past Chats:
Error in getDiffDetailsFromGitDiff: Error: Could not determine default branch

Hey, thanks for the report.
This is a known issue, and the team is working on a fix. The “Could not determine default branch” error is related to the Git repo.
To help with debugging, could you please confirm:
- What Cursor version are you on? (Help > About)
- Does this happen in all projects, or only in the current one?
