Where does the bug appear (feature/product)?
Cursor IDE
Describe the Bug
Edit: Didn’t see the other chats about this before and replies from the team saying they’re on it and are looking into it so apologies! But hopefully this adds more context to areas of Plan mode that need addressing! Thanks
Love the plan mode, but had some trouble with it not completing the plan in one go. Once i press Build on a Plan created by Cursor, sometimes it completes some of it then returns back to me saying what its done and what’s next. What is the best way to continue with the plan from here?
Ive tried a few options and none seem to work too well. If i just press build again on the same plan, it of course isnt updated so messes up what it has already done. If i tell it to update the plan then press build on the new plan, this gets messy since the plan then has ‘Completed’ sections for context and it seems to bug out when completing it, and even then i would have to iterate that a few times to finish the plan. If I just prompt it in the same chat in agent mode to ‘Continue the implementation’, it then only does small jobs and returns back to me all the time and i have to keep saying ‘Continue’.
It seems there should be a clear way to continue a build if Cursor doesn’t complete it in one - am i missing something or is this just not the case?
PS its not as if the plans i’ve built and asked for a ludicrously large and cant be completed in new sweep, but maybe they are too large for the current state of the plan mode. Im not sure!
Thanks!
Steps to Reproduce
Create a decent sized plan with many steps. Then press Build. Then if it returns before the full plan ahs been implemented that’s where my trouble lies!
