Describe the Bug

I’ve noticed an issue where Gemini 3 Flash successfully generates a plan in the Chat Agent, but the plan fails to sync or display correctly in the main Editor. As seen in the attached screenshot, the Chat Agent shows a plan with specific captions and to-dos, yet the main editor screen remains blank. It appears the plan exists within the agent’s context but isn’t being properly rendered or updated in the Cursor UI.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Click Plan Mode and Choose Gemini 3 Flash
2. Create prompt for plan
3. Gemini finish task making plan but get error like screenshot

Expected Behavior

Gemini able to fill plan, Cursor Plan show as expected base on Plan in Chat Editor

This is a known issue and the team is working on a fix. Related thread: Plan mode "build" not working in chat

To help us fix this faster, please share:

• Logs from Help > Toggle Developer Tools > Console while opening the plan
• Whether a plan file exists on disk, and its contents
• Whether the same happens in Plan Mode with another model (for example, Claude 4.5 Sonnet)
• New Request IDs from chat when you retry

Also, please try these quick checks:

• Restart Cursor and recreate the plan in a new chat
• Close the plan tab and click Build again
