Describe the Bug

In plan mode claude 4.6 offered me a planning question with letters that didn’t match the preceding text. In other words, it talked about options A, B, C. And then gave me a structured question using those letters as options, but the letters didn’t match between the two.

Steps to Reproduce

Not sure. Try trigger structured questionnaire-style questions in plan mode repeatedly.

Expected Behavior

If agent mentions letters in response then these should match the structured question.

Hey, thanks for the report. The issue is that the model added its own A/B/C labels in the text, and they don’t match the labels that the Cursor UI assigns to the structured answer options. If that happens, please follow the labels in the Cursor UI, the ones next to the actual answer options, those are correct.

Can you share the request ID for this chat? You can copy it from the chat menu (top right) > “Copy Request ID”.
