Describe the Bug

Since upgrading to Cursor 2.1.0, planning mode has become unusable for me. Every time I send a request in planning mode, it fails with an error in the planning tool. All of the plan docs I had created before the upgrade have disappeared and I’m unable to recreate any new plans.

Steps to Reproduce

Upgrade to Cursor 2.1.0.

Open planning mode and note that existing plans are gone.

Try to create a new plan and run it.

Observe that the request fails with a planning-tool error.

MacOS

Current Cursor Version (Menu → About Cursor → Copy)

Version: 2.1.0
VSCode Version: 1.99.3

Hey there.

Is this the exact version you’re using? The latest stable version you should be using is 2.1.49.

If you upgrade and still face the issue creating plans, please share a Request ID.

I think this should be fixed on 2.1.49 (out in the last day)!
