I spend alot of time tuning my repo, cursorrules, and setup to reduce token spend. I’ve settled on Composer-2.5 (not fast) as my workhorse and run a ton of prompts using the model (both via IDE and SDK).
I prefer the pricing model of the regular (not fast) version.
Today I got a notice below my prompt input that I’d been automatically switched to composer-2.5 fast.
This feels like an anti-pattern. I already had to menu dive to find the non-fast option and really don’t want to blow through my token budget again.
Please allow me to opt IN to model setting changes, not opt out.
