Primary sidebar always opens on the right

Everytime i open cursor the primary sidebar (the one with the file explorer, search, etc.) is always to the right. I never want it there so everytime I open cursor I need to move it which is very frustrating.

I would guess it’s this setting but it’s already set to left..

This wasn’t an issue 1-2 months ago. It’s a new change and I didn’t change anything on my end. How can I stop having to move the damn bar everytime I open cursor? I’m about to switch editors just over this single issue.

Does this stop you from using Cursor?

  • Yes - Cursor is unusable
  • Sometimes - I can sometimes use Cursor
  • No - Cursor works, but with this issue
