Privacy and the forced "how did the agent do"

I don’t want the “how did the agent do” popups, but Cursor has officially stated there’s no way to turn them off or control how often they appear.

Question for Cursor – When a user clicks any answer, does this then give you permission to read the chat transcript and use it to train your models, or use the transcript for any other purpose? This is a yes or no question. Plese provide a simple yes or no answer.

I’m asking because I have all my setting setup for privacy, and I’m wondering if this prompt is a back-door for Cursor to claim the right to read the chat transcript and use it for Cursor’s purposes.

So, again, the quesiton is – Does any interaction with the prompt then give Cursor permission to circumvent my privacy settings and use my information.

No, it doesn’t change anything about the privacy of your chat transcript! Your Privacy Mode still applies. It simply indicates whether the response was, in your opinion, good or bad.
