# Problem with display special character

Cursor bot have problem with special character recently, instead display as regular, it not parse its character and display html code of those character:

@deanrie Would you be able to share your example. The one above appears to be a model intelligence bug since the model is putting `&gt;` inside of backticks.

All MD parsers handle this the same way:

`File &gt; Preferences &gt; Settings` (or `Code &gt; Preferences &gt; Settings`

I just received it, my model question was “Fix this code”, and he gave recommendations for improvement.
