Bug Report: Repeated “Bad Request” Errors Interrupting Workflow
Description:
Roughly every 3-5th request using Claude-4-Sonnet in Cursor triggers an uninformative “Bad Request” popup. The request fails without meaningful feedback, requiring manual resubmission, which then usually succeeds unchanged.
Steps to Reproduce:
- Use Claude-4-Sonnet in Cursor for multiple (5–10) prompt submissions.
- Observe that every few requests fail with a “Bad Request” alert.
- Re-submitting the same prompt typically succeeds.
Expected Behavior:
Requests should complete successfully or fail with a clear explanation. The current error message lacks context, logs, or actionable insight.
Actual Behavior:
Random request failures with only a generic “Bad Request” message and a Request ID. No error log or recovery guidance is provided.
Impact:
The issue disrupts workflow and reduces trust in stability. It’s especially frustrating during focused work sessions, requiring constant manual retrying.
