Removal of Keep/Unkeep mode (context pinning)?

Where does the bug appear (feature/product)?

Cursor IDE

Describe the Bug

Hello Cursor team,
I’d like to share important feedback regarding the removal of Keep/Unkeep mode (context pinning).
This change has negatively affected my daily workflow: loss of consistency, reduced productivity, and the need to reattach context manually far too often.
The main issue is not only the removal itself, but also the lack of clear advance communication and the absence of an equivalent replacement.
Please consider either bringing back a “pinned context” mode or adding an equivalent option that can be enabled in settings.
Best regards,

Does this stop you from using Cursor

Yes - Cursor is unusable

Are you saying you don’t see the Undo/Keep buttons per change?

Or not seeing them here?

Or are you referring to something else?

After modifying two files using Cursor AI in agent mode, the files are automatically saved and I can’t undo or keep the changes using undo/keep.

This significantly changes my workflow with the IDE :frowning:

When I click on review, the accept/undo buttons disappear.

Do you have this setting enabled? If it is not, I think it basically auto accepts all changes. I am using v2.6, so maybe in later versions things have changed and my suggestion is not helpful.
