Repeated macOS TCC prompt “Allow cursor-vscode to access Xcode” when using xcode-tools MCP

Where does the bug appear (feature/product)?

Cursor IDE

Describe the Bug

This is a clone of the existing topic that was closed: Repeated macOS TCC prompt "Allow cursor-vscode to access Xcode" when using xcode-tools MCP

I’m cloning it because it was not resolved and the topic was closed automatically. Can somebody please look into it? It doesn’t seem to be an Apple bug because other harnesses like Claude Code don’t have the same issue. You only need to click “Allow” once when using Claude Code.

Thank you!

Steps to Reproduce

  • Connect Cursor with Xcode MCP
  • Open Xcode
  • Prompt the model to compile a project via Xcode MCP

Expected Behavior

  • It should only prompt “Allow cursor-vscode to access Xcode” once, instead it asks it continuously every time it calls the mcp

Operating System

MacOS
