Automations are great and our team is leaning into them. We have found a few that don’t require the weight/cost of spinning up a whole cursor env.
It would be great if there was an option to just orchestrate an AI automation through cursor cloud with an option to not pick a repo or have it spin up a docker env. It would just run an AI prompt on the selected model with the configured MCP setup.
Our current workaround is to use a mostly empty repo that as no cloud agent env setup, but it still goes through unnecessary setup.
Let me know if this is possible already or if there’s a better way to do it. I think we would run way more automations through cursor if it gave an easy way to setup these automations
