I started ResultGate because I kept thinking about people who spend significant time and money building excellent AI agents around good ideas, only to get lost among all the other tools.

I want to help those builders get discovered when their work actually fits someone’s need. That is the goal—not something I’m claiming we have already achieved.

I’m starting with a narrow, open-source MCP companion that Cursor users can run locally. It evaluates whether BrowserAct fits a permitted public-data task, suggests an existing API or free/local option when appropriate, prepares extraction instructions, and validates the exported CSV while preserving its original values.

Our internal example contains prices and availability for 20 fictional books from a practice website. We checked completeness and five source samples. It is an internal test, not evidence of independent customers, sales, or time savings.

The companion does not collect your API keys, run paid tasks, or purchase subscriptions. You control your provider account and any spending.

Disclosure: BrowserAct has issued us an affiliate link. We are still awaiting clarification about eligibility for our specific AI/MCP referral flow. We have earned no commissions, and commission does not influence recommendations. This post contains no affiliate link.

I’d welcome feedback from a few Cursor users who already need to collect permitted public product data: does preparing the task and checking the export help, compared with using the provider directly? Please don’t buy anything just to test it or share credentials or private data.

Written with AI assistance from my own motivation and our documented internal experiment.
