“Revert” and “Don’t Revert” don’t work as Messages are stuck in Queue

Describe the Bug

As the title says, “Revert” and “Don’t Revert” remain stuck and don’t work because all new chat messages are sent to the Queue. Pushing a message from the Queue manually doesn’t apply revert / don’t revert either. The chat history turns into a mess and the agent is confused.

Steps to Reproduce

Update to 3.17.8. Go back to a message in the chat history, edit, and resend. Cursor asks “Revert” or “Don’t Revert.” Select either. Neither is executed because the message is stuck in the queue.

This isn’t intended behavior or anything on your end - it’s tied to the queueing issue on the thread you linked, and our team is looking into it.

To roll changes back without fighting the stuck queue: instead of editing an earlier message and choosing Revert, hover that message and hit Restore Checkpoint - it reverts your files directly, so it works even while messages are queued (Checkpoints).

I’ll post here when there’s an update.
