Supermaven was one of the greatest thing for neovim and it got sunset after being acquired by cursor.
Its still pretty good but if cursor does some more updates for the plugin and the backend there would be nothing similar to that in the market.
Can you please revive that project ? Would buy super maven autocomplete only instead of cursor at the same price. Neovim gives kind of personalization to the editor and its fun to code in it.
Hey, thanks for the feature request. We’re seeing demand for Cursor Tab outside the editor itself, including Neovim. It’s a recurring topic, with big threads like Cursor plugin for Neovim? Honestly, I don’t have a plan to bring back Supermaven as a separate product, or a timeline for a standalone Tab for Neovim right now, so I won’t promise anything.
I noticed you already raised a similar request in your thread #164665 Neovim support using cursor official plugin. To avoid splitting votes and discussion, let’s keep everything in one place. If there’s an update on editor-agnostic Tab, I’ll follow up.
Closing the thread. Good to hear it is in the radar. Just having newer model and not the whole tab feature is also fine for neovim as neovim has its motion for moving between the codebase.
