In the dedicated Agents window, ⌥⌘S / Save All doesn’t save all open files. I’ve remapped shortcuts correctly; it works in the classic editor, but not here.

That’s been a problems for months, I’ve seen all the past posts about it which have been closed without resolution.

The annoying part is I’ll edit several files in the agent UI, hit Save All, commit, and some changes never make it into the commit because those buffers were never written to disk. I only notice later when the diff is wrong or a deploy is missing a fix.

Workarounds (⌘S per file, or switching layouts) are easy to forget mid-flow. Please fix Save All in the Agents window so it actually saves every dirty editor.

No - Cursor works, but with this issue

Hey there,

Quickest fix so nothing slips through: turn on Auto Save (Settings → search “Auto Save” → afterDelay, or add "files.autoSave": "afterDelay" to settings.json). The Agents Window respects it, so files get written before you commit.

If you’d rather save by hand, use Cmd+S per tab, or save/commit from the classic editor window where Save All works normally. Remapping won’t help - Save All isn’t wired up in the Agents Window yet.

This isn’t intended behavior and we’ve let the team know. I’ll post here when there’s an update.
