Hi Eugen,
Thank you for the forum post and for providing the screenshot. As a first step, could you try enlarging the Cursor window? On smaller or compact window sizes, the search icon in the upper-left can be hidden.
If you still don’t see it after resizing the window, please try increasing the available space in your display settings on Mac by going to System Settings → Displays → More Space
If that doesn’t bring it back, let me know, and I’ll walk you through additional troubleshooting steps.

Yes, I am reporting specifically for this case. It was surprising that search is not available here.

In my opinion the search should be visible if interface is in “minimum” mode.
The “Search” icon should be shown. When I click it, on the right side where “General” is, it should be shown “Search” and below the search control should be displayed.
Then when I search and hit ENTER, the search results should be shown under this “search control”
