I cannot use Cursor any more. I am using Mac OS 26.6.2 (25G83).
please help..

Yes - Cursor is unusable

Hey @osbornli, that error means something on your network (a proxy or security tool) is re-signing HTTPS traffic with a certificate the agent connection doesn’t trust, so the request is blocked before it leaves your Mac. It’s not the update.

Try this first:

  1. Open IDE (top right of the Agents Window) → Cmd+Shift+P → “Preferences: Open User Settings (JSON)”, add:

"cursor.general.disableHttp2": true
  1. Fully quit with Cmd+Q and reopen.
  2. Make sure your company’s root certificate is in Keychain Access, set to Always Trust.

If it still fails, run Settings → Network → Run Diagnostics and paste the output here (the SSL line names the intercepting certificate). And a quick test: try a phone hotspot for a minute - if it works there, the interception is on your work network, and IT will need to exclude Cursor’s domains from SSL inspection (guide).
