Over two months have passed since this problem was reported on July 31st. At this point, it’s difficult for us to believe this is a genuine oversight. Is the cursor unwilling to fix this?

@deanrie so yeah, the agent’s terminals (in both the dedicated window and right-side panel) - started defaulting to C:\users\user and ends up searching for package.json in that dir.
When it runs some npm commands (e.g. build) - it can result in some specific terminal crash that hangs the cursor agent and makes it unrecoverable.
I added a rule for the agent to change the dir and remind him of it often - then the problem DOES NOT HAPPEN - but the terminals tend to default back to the NONWORKING directory and ends up crashing sooner-or-later.

It is twice-bad as its unrecoverable (cant restart/continue the conversation once the terminal hangs), so the context of that discussion is gone, have to restart.

Thanks for the info, I’ll pass it to the team.

Can we get an update on this issue?

Downgrading worked for me.

Windows 11 Pro with 1gb internet over ethernet. While doing editing all of a sudden it disconnects itself and gives me this error…
