I would love to see a “Set Aside” action that works similar to archive: move a chat out of the main sidebar so it isn’t part of the active chats, and view all of them in a separate set aside section.
Archive currently means “this chat is finished”. That makes it a bad place for chats I still need later, but not now. On a typical task, I often end up with chats that have ideas or refactors that need to wait until I finish something else first. Those chats are not done, and if I archive them they disappear into a pile of hundreds of finished chats getting lost.
I currently have around 50 chats at any given time stuck in the sidebar making it hard to keep track of things.
Other solutions
Folder organization would also be a way to solve this (if folders could be collapsed): Folder organization for agent chats
I also know that chats can set an icon, however that doesn’t work in IDE mode and they still clutter the sidebar.
