# Settings search stuck on "Loading settings..."

### Where does the bug appear (feature/product)?

Cursor IDE

### Describe the Bug

Typing anything in the Settings search box (for example “appea”) shows “Loading settings…” forever and never returns any results. It happens every time.

### Steps to Reproduce

1. Open Settings.
2. Type any text in the search box.
3. The panel stays on “Loading settings…” indefinitely.

### Expected Behavior

Matching settings appear in the results.
