Shared canvas is not visible to other members in my team

Where does the bug appear (feature/product)?

Cursor IDE

Describe the Bug

Shared canvas is not visible to other team members in the same team.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Created and published a canvas, and I can see my shared canvas listed in https://cursor.com/dashboard/shared-canvases.
  2. However, other team members cannot see my shared canvas in the “Shared Canvases” page (and vice versa - I can’t see theirs shared canvases).
  3. Direct visit to the shared canvas also resulted to error (screenshot below).
  4. Have confirmed that in Teams settings that “Enabled Shared Canvas” is enabled.

Expected Behavior

Shared canvas should be visible to all team members within my team, given it should be available for Pro and higher tier (we are on Enterprise tier.

Does this stop you from using Cursor

No - Cursor works, but with this issue

Hey @Felix_Lawi, thanks for the report!

Two separate things are going on here.

First, the Shared Canvases page is a personal view. It only lists the canvases you published yourself, so teammates will not see your canvases there and you will not see theirs. To view someone else’s canvas, they need to send you its share link.

Second, opening a share link currently works only when the viewer is in the same Cursor team as the publisher. Your organization has several Cursor teams, and a team-visible canvas can only be opened by members of the exact team it was published from. Colleagues in the other teams of your org will see an error for now. This is a known issue we are already tracking, and I have added your report to it.

Thank you @Colin for explaining. Looking forward for the fix itself so we can view shared canvas from other teams within the same org.
