Describe the Bug

In the cloud automations setup, when trying to add a trigger for most trigger types (github, linear etc) the menu disappears when I try hover over it making it not possible to setup automations with these as triggers.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Create a new automation
  2. Attempt to add a trigger from some trigger types
  3. Observe the menu disappearing when you hover over it

Expected Behavior

The menu items under github or linear should be selectable

Hey @Liam_Binns-Conroy, thanks for the recording - that made it easy to confirm. This isn’t intended behavior and it’s not on your end; it’s an issue we’re tracking.

Two workarounds that both work now:

  1. Type the trigger name into the Search Triggers… box at the top of the menu, then click the flat result.
  2. Or use the arrow keys to move into the nested item and press Enter.

I’ll post here when there’s an update.

Quick update on this: the trigger menus disappearing on hover in the Automations setup has been addressed on our side, and the change will be rolled out soon if it hasn’t been already.

Since this is on cursor.com there’s no app update needed, just refresh the page and give the Add Trigger menu another try. Let me know if you still hit it!
