So I ask myself, what exactly is going on? I’m using Composer and its set to claude-3.5 sonnet.

When using both ChatGPT and Claude via the web or a mobile app, the app itself actually injects the current date and time so that it’s available in the conversation.
As we’re focused on code quality, this isn’t something that Cursr adds on your behalf, as we often use those tokens for code context.
As this sometimes is useful to know when writing code, this may be something we can add in the future, but probably isn’t a high priority right now, as you are able to tell it the date yourself if needed for a related code suggestion or answer
