Sound of "finished" its played when waiting for sub agent

Describe the Bug

When a chat with “Multitask” its going, the notification sound of “finished” its played when waiting for sub agent and the message “Will resume when subagent finishes”…

its anoying cuz its didnt actually finished

Steps to Reproduce

Confiure so we have a “notification sound” when a chat finish
Start a Multitask chat where the subagent take more time than the main agent.
Get sound when main agent waits subagent

Expected Behavior

no sound when waiting

No - Cursor works, but with this issue

Hey, thanks for the detailed report. This looks like a known issue: the completion chime triggers when the parent agent backgrounds a sub-agent in Multitask, even though the work is still running. I reported internally that it also reproduces on 3.8.23. I can’t share a fix timeline yet.

As a temporary workaround, you can turn off the completion sound in settings until we fix it. Once I have an update on the fix, I’ll reply in the thread.
