Specific words shuts down connection

Where does the bug appear (feature/product)?

Cursor IDE

Describe the Bug

Hi team, I noticed that when the terminal has certain words (in this case I think it was “killed” for example when process was killed and terminal outputs this word, the agent just stops with “vpn” error. I open new agent same issue. The way I figured it out is I closed the terminal that had this word and it was working again. I understand some filters need to be in place, however the word “killed” is often used in context. other times I have the same issue, but this time I caught it.

Steps to Reproduce

create a command that outputs “killed” then try to continue ith any agent until you actually delete the terminal

Expected Behavior

agent should be working as usual

Windows 10/11

Does this stop you from using Cursor

No - Cursor works, but with this issue

Hey, thanks for the report.

I’ll need a bit more info to investigate:

  1. Can you send the exact error message the agent shows? A screenshot would be ideal.
  2. Can you try reproducing it with other words, like “terminated”, “error”, or “failed”? Do those trigger the issue too?
  3. Does this happen only with Opus 4.5, or with other models as well?

I’ll pass this into an engineering ticket as soon as I have the extra info.
