Steer from iOS text becomes unreadable on hover in dark mode

Describe the Bug

When hovering over the disabled “Steer from iOS” card on the Cursor welcome screen while using dark mode, the text color changes to a very dark/black color. This creates extremely low contrast against the dark card background and makes the label almost unreadable.

Steps to Reproduce

Steps to reproduce:

1. Open Cursor in dark mode.
2. Navigate to the welcome/start screen.
3. Hover over the disabled “Steer from iOS” card.

Expected Behavior

Expected behavior: The disabled text should retain sufficient contrast and remain readable when hovered.

Actual behavior: The text becomes nearly black on a dark background, making it difficult to read.

Hey @mountzou

You’re right - the “Steer from iOS” card loses contrast on hover in dark mode, and it’s not something on your end.

You can get rid of it, though: the card isn’t actually disabled, it’s clickable. Clicking it opens a short intro dialog, and once you’ve opened it the card won’t appear on the welcome screen again.

I know it’s a minor UI issue and that I can get rid of it. However, as a happy user of Cursor, I just wanted to raise it so it can hopefully be addressed in one of the next updates.
