Cursor’s tab completion is already top tier but it works by seeing what you have done and guesses what you will do next without really knowing what your objective is.
It would be very useful to have a text input somewhere where we can type what our current objective is and have tab completions use that as a hint of what to do next. Even better if we can just talk to it and have it listen to what we want to do.
Imagine saying “I want to add a new item to the sidebar” and the tab helps you do that with more accuracy.
The reason I believe this would be good is because it’s the midpoint between chat and tab. You are still 100% in control of the code that gets written but with the machine more aware of what you are trying to achieve.
