Archiving an agent chat does not stop its dev server, even though it should, and there is no global list of running terminals or local ports. The N Terminals pill only shows up if you reopen that exact chat. I was left with server still listening and no place in the UI to find or stop it.
Right now, archiving a chat doesn’t stop the terminals it started, so a dev server can keep running in the background. The Terminals pill only shows on the chat that started them, so once that chat is archived there’s nothing pointing you to them.
Until that changes, you can find and stop those processes from another chat in the same project:
Open a Terminal tab (Ctrl+Shift+`, or new tab > Terminal).
Expand the collapsed Other Agents group in the terminal list.
Right-click the server’s terminal and choose Kill Terminal.
Outside Cursor, lsof -i :<port> followed by kill <pid> also frees the port.
