can you guys just make shift+tab predictable in that it just loops through the tools available to me? Why is it random …..

Hi @Christian_Garrovillo Shift+Tab cycles through the available modes, e.g. Plan, Agent, Debug, Ask. Unless you have a custom keybinding setup to do something different?
