### Feature request for product/service

Cursor IDE

### Describe the request

Hello Cursor team,

I would like to propose the addition of a feature that allows declaring and using a private plugin marketplace, internal to a team or company.

The goal would be to manage and distribute internal plugins in a centralized, secure, and simple way. This capability would greatly facilitate the adoption of Cursor in professional environments where internal tools are numerous and sensitive.

Your competitor Claude Code already offers an interesting approach for adding plugins from private or self‑hosted Git repositories (documentation: [Discover and install prebuilt plugins through marketplaces - Claude Code Docs](https://code.claude.com/docs/en/discover-plugins#add-from-other-git-hosts) ). A similar or improved feature in Cursor (IDE + CLI + Web) would be highly appreciated.

Do you think this enhancement could be added to your roadmap?

Thank you in advance for your feedback,
Raphaël

### Operating System (if it applies)

Go to Dashboard → Settings → Plugins, click Import under Team Marketplaces, paste a GitHub repo URL, and review the parsed plugins. I would be amazing if you could add a markepace from an HTTP url like Claude has

> Feature request for product/service Cursor IDE Describe the request Hi Cursor team, Currently the only option to configure a Team Plugin Marketplace is using Github or Github enterprise. It would be extreamly helpful to support the Claude plugins standard that also allows connection to an HTTP URL that serves the marketplace.json This way we can use our internal registries that have governance capabilities instead of relaying on git Thanks in advance, Adam
