I want my team mates and myself to be able to collaborate with AI on the same chat sessions together. I want to be able to review my team mates chat session if I want to continue where he/she left off. This makes collaboration more useful, efficient and fast.
I want to use Cursor with my team members. I want my team members and I to be able to view the same chats and participate in the same chat with the AI together.
This gives my team members and me context of what each other is talking about and how we’re interacting with AI.
This also gives context about what has been discussed in the chat.
This further gives us clarity on what AI has generated is shared between all of us in the team.
It partly overlaps with what we already have. Shared Chats lets you share a chat transcript via a link, so teammates can open it and see what was discussed with the AI. It’s not real-time collaboration in the same session, but it does give context and lets someone continue from where another person left off.
Full real-time collaboration, where multiple users work in the same AI chat at the same time, is on our radar, but it’s in the backlog. I can’t share an ETA. There are similar requests in other threads too, so we’re collecting signal:
