Teams upgrade hides pre-existing Cloud Agents on Mac and iOS

Where does the bug appear (feature/product)?

Cloud Agent (GitHub, Slack, Web, Linear)

Describe the Bug

After upgrading my existing Cursor Pro account to Teams, all Cloud Agents created before the upgrade disappeared from the Mac and iOS agent lists. The agents still exist and work normally on the web. Direct links also open them correctly in the iOS app, but they remain missing from All Agents and the Mac Agents Window. New agents created after the Teams upgrade appear normally everywhere.

Steps to Reproduce

Use an existing Cursor Pro account with Cloud Agent history.
  1. Upgrade that same account to Teams.
  2. Open Cursor on Mac or iOS.
  3. Check All Agents or the Agents Window.
  4. Pre-upgrade Cloud Agents are missing.
  5. Create a new Cloud Agent after upgrading. The new agent appears normally on Mac, iOS and web.
  6. Open a missing old agent using its direct cursor.com/agents/… link on iPhone. It opens correctly inside the Cursor app.
  7. Send a follow-up from the iOS app. The command executes and appears on the web.
  8. The agent can also send normal iOS push notifications, and tapping the notification opens the correct agent.
  9. Despite this, the old agent never appears in the iOS All Agents list or Mac Agents Window.

Expected Behavior

All Cloud Agents belonging to my account should remain visible across web, Mac and iOS after upgrading from Pro to Teams. Existing pre-upgrade Cloud Agents should not disappear from the agent listings when the account moves to a Team plan.

For Operating System, select both macOS and iOS if the form allows multiple choices.

For screenshots, I would upload:

  1. The iOS All Agents screen showing only the newer agents/workspaces.
  2. The old Cloud Agent opened directly inside the iOS app.
  3. The same old agent visible and working on the web.
  4. The push notification from that old agent.

For the title, I would make it slightly more technical than “Disappointed with Cursor Support” so it is more likely to reach engineering:

Pre-Teams Cloud Agents Missing from Mac and iOS After Pro → Teams Upgrade

Then, if there is an Additional Information or comments field lower down, add the support issue there:

I have already contacted Cursor support multiple times and provided screenshots and reproduction steps. Support mentioned reviewing the Cloud Agent context / reattachment, but the issue is still unresolved. I am posting here because the technical issue has not been addressed through email support.

Additional Information

I have already contacted Cursor Support multiple times about this issue and provided screenshots, affected Cloud Agent links and reproduction steps.

Support previously acknowledged that my pre-upgrade agents appear to be “personal runs” and mentioned an account-status review / reattachment so they could become visible across devices again. However, the issue has still not been resolved and I have not received meaningful follow-up after multiple emails.

Additional evidence:

• Pre-Teams agents still execute normally.
• They are fully accessible on cursor.com/agents.
• Their direct links successfully open them inside the Cursor iOS app.
• I can send follow-up instructions from the iOS app and they execute normally.
• They continue sending iOS push notifications.
• Tapping those notifications opens the correct old agent.
• Despite this, they are not listed under All Agents on iOS or in the Mac Agents Window.
• Agents created after upgrading to Teams appear normally across all devices.

This strongly suggests the affected agents are still valid and accessible by agent ID, but are excluded from the agent-list query for my current Team context.

I am posting this here because repeated attempts to resolve this through email support have not resulted in a fix. I would appreciate escalation to the Cloud Agents / account engineering team.

Does this stop you from using Cursor

No - Cursor works, but with this issue

Hey @saadseddiq, thanks for the detailed report.

I can confirm your findings. Agents you created before upgrading are stored as personal agents, while agents created after the upgrade belong to your team. The Mac Agents Window and the iOS app currently list only agents that belong to the team you’re signed into, so those older personal agents drop out of the lists even though they still exist and still work — which is why direct links, follow-ups, and notifications all behave normally. The web view at cursor.com/agents isn’t filtered that way, so it shows everything.

This is a known issue that we’re already tracking.

In the meantime, two things that should help:

  1. cursor.com/agents remains the complete list for your account.
  2. On Mac, if you open one of the older agents from cursor.com/agents (via “Open in Cursor”) and then pin it in the Agents Window sidebar, it should stay visible there, since pinned agents are loaded separately from the team list.

Unfortunately, there’s no equivalent workaround on iOS yet, and no manual action we can take on our end to change the visibility.
