“The editor could not opened due to unexpected error” message is observed after clicking on welcome option in Help Menu

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Deploy latest BOS on X64 Machine.
  2. Download and install “Cursor” application
  3. Launch the “Cursor” application.
  4. Sign in with valid credentials.
  5. Click on Help Menu from title bar of the application.
  6. Click on Welcome option from help menu.
  7. Observe: “The editor could not opened due to unexpected error” message is observed

Expected Behavior

Should be able to work with welcome option without any issues.

Operating System

Windows 10/11

Current Cursor Version (Menu → About Cursor → Copy)

Cursor version is v1.7.39

Does this stop you from using Cursor

No - Cursor works, but with this issue

Try Install Extenstion DART

Worked for me. I have found soluton i youtube video “The editor could not be opened due to an unexpected error: Unable to read file”
