Describe the Bug

When watching a Udemy lecture in Cursor Browser, the green progress/loading bar under the address bar stays active / keeps animating indefinitely even after the page and video are fully loaded and playing.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Open Cursor Browser
  2. Go to a Udemy course lecture (video playing)
  3. Observe the green bar under the URL bar

Expected:
Loading bar disappears when page/video is ready

Actual:
Green bar remains visible / continuously “loading” during playback

  2. Navigate to a Udemy lecture with video
  3. Wait until the page loads and the video starts playing.
  4. Watch for several seconds while the video is playing normally.
  5. Look at the thin green progress/loading bar under the address bar.

Expected Behavior

Expected: The green bar disappears once the page/video is fully loaded.

Actual: The green bar stays visible and keeps showing a loading state during playback.

Good news: this is just a visual issue. The page and video are fully loaded, and it doesn’t affect playback. It looks like the streaming video keeps the network connection open the whole time it’s playing, and the loading indicator still treats that as the page still loading.

One thing that would help confirm the cause: if you pause the video and wait 10 to 15 seconds, does the green bar disappear? Either way is useful to know, so if it doesn’t go away, please let me know too.

Yes, it’s only a visual issue, but it still distracts me while I’m trying to watch and focus on a video.

Pausing the video doesn’t fix it. However, once the video starts, if I click the address bar with the mouse and press Enter, the green loading bar disappears. I hope this helps with debugging.

Thanks, that’s exactly what we needed to check. The fact that pause doesn’t help, but clicking the address bar and pressing Enter hides the bar is a helpful detail. I shared that with the team along with your video.
