There are several posts on these two messages above, but what I am experiencing is the following which is perhaps a little different. The agent waits for me to click to run a command in the chat window and if I do not respond within a certain time, it says ‘Tool call ended before receiving result’ and ‘User aborted request’. If it is simply a timeout issue, then the message needs to specifically state that, as well as provide users options to control the settings. I am just now (sometimes) seeing message to ‘Resume’ or ‘Try Again’, but that should always be the case.
This happens to me all the time, and it seems quite silly that it doesn’t auto recover from me pressing the run button on the tool call accept.
I couldn’t agree more. The wording of the messages kind of points fingers at the user rudely, while also not providing helpful information or solutions. I hope they change the wording even if they can’t provide a real solution soon.
