Two Chat Box Issue After 'New Windows

Describe the Bug

After clicking ‘new windows’ and selecting a directory, I get a screen like this with two chat boxes. I cannot return to normal from this screen at all. To return to normal, I have to close and reopen the application after selecting the directory. The version I am currently using is below:

Steps to Reproduce

The problem used to be fixed when I closed and reopened it. But now it doesn’t get fixed anymore. A ‘group’ has been created, but I cannot see what it is
