# Typical problem : cursor stops while updating a file

I use cursor agent mode with sonnet3.7 thinking. I ask for a feature implementation. Claude starts working, and it needs at some point to edit a file. The file edit tool fails and the process stops. I cannot see the reason why it failed or anything.

It happens rather frequently, and this evening it’s just constant.

I am on Windows, latest version of Cursor.

The issue stops me from using Cursor.
