Product: Cursor Approval Agents + Security Agents
Context
I’m a solo builder on the Ultimate plan (not a Team plan — I don’t have a team). I use Security Agents a lot in my workflow and want my Approval Agent to factor Security Agent findings into auto-approval decisions.
In the Approval Agent configuration UI, Use Security Review Context (“Include Security Agent review context in the approval decision”) is disabled. Hovering the toggle shows:
A team plan is required to use Security Agents.
Bugbot Review Context appears available; Security Review Context is the one that’s blocked.
Why this matters
As a solo Ultimate user, I’m already investing in security reviews. Without Security Review Context, the Approval Agent can’t gate on those findings the way it can with Bugbot — so I either:
- Auto-approve without the security signal I care about most, or
- Manually check security reviews before anything merges
That undercuts the point of wiring Security Agents into the approval loop.
Ask
Please consider unlocking Use Security Review Context for individual Ultimate users who already have access to Security Agents — or clarify whether Security Agents + this Approval Agent setting are intentionally Team/Enterprise-only even for Ultimate.
