Describe the Bug

When setting up automations, I was unable to connect to Microsoft Teams for triggers like “New message in Teams Channel”.

I followed the “Connect” workflow and was able to add Cursor to a specific channel but on automations set up page, it still shows “Requires connection” and i was unable to move forward to “Create” the automation

Steps to Reproduce

Triggers: select
New message in Teams channel

Click Connect and follow through the instructions to connect to the trigger channel.

Come back to automations creation page

Enter the agent instructions and click on Create

Does this stop you from using Cursor

No - Cursor works, but with this issue

Thanks for the report.

Just to confirm, beyond installing the Cursor app from the Teams marketplace, have you also linked your Cursor account from Teams?

yes i have. now the problem i mentioned earlier is resolved but the automation doesn’t run when there are new messages in the channel (which is the trigger i configured).

Have you toggled your Automation to be active?
