# Unable to connect to the model provider

### Describe the Bug

We’re having trouble connecting to the model provider. This might be temporary - please try again in a moment.

This happens regardless of the chat model I select. This has been happening for the past 4 hours

### Steps to Reproduce

Chat with the agent

### Expected Behavior

Agent should be able to connect to model provider. Network diagnostics ok.

### Does this stop you from using Cursor

Yes - Cursor is unusable
