# Update to 0.45.5 and Composer no longer working

I just updated to 0.45.5 and Composer is now incapable of make code changes.

The “Generating…” indicator runs, but always finishes with “It seems there was an issue applying the changes.” instead of show the “Accept” button.

So, the main Cursor’s feature, pointing diffs and making direct code changes, is no longer working…

I even can’t rollback, since the “Previous Version” on [Cursor - The AI Code Editor](https://www.cursor.com/downloads) is serving 0.43.6 for Windows.

**UPDATE**

I change Composer to Pane and return to Editor and seems like works now.

Tried this and moving from Pane to Editor and visa versa did not correct the issue for me.

I’ve tried several models as well and have reached out to Support via email who are looking into it (as the automated response has indicated).

Does Toggle Developer Tools show any errors in the console
